About Us

Established in 2021 in Ottawa, we are a not-for-profit corporation passionate about educating our current and future generations with stories about our Prophets. We believe the best way to do that is through a fun and safe environment at home. Our plan is not only to sell these educational game boards to the public, but also to donate them to mosques, Islamic schools, and low income families.

The Goal

With 25 Prophets and their stories, each story provides lessons that can be used in our everyday lives to foster kindness, empathy, and strong community bonds.

The goal of this project is to help us remember the lessons that Prophets have taught us in a simple and fun way. Developed as a board game, Name That Prophet is about having fun while teaching us about Islam through Prophetic stories, promoting knowledge for this world and the next.

The Benefits

Players are quizzed on Islamic knowledge through Prophetic stories. In addition, the conversations fostered from these stories serve as lessons that can be applied to daily life.

Parents get a refresher on Prophetic stories and can share them with their children and friends. This benefits parents by fostering close relationships and trust with their children. The game also serves as reference material on stories and lessons that parents can use day-to-day.

Teens can play with their friends and have fun…without any screens! Teens can spend hours behind a screen and this game provides an atmosphere that promotes face-to-face interactions in a safe, judgement-free environment.

Why we did this?

In a busy world filled with social media, video games, and sports, it is hard to find the time and energy to teach our kids about the Prophets and their stories. These stories can shape our kids for the better, both in this world and the next.

These stories have been told and heard for generations. However, somehow, we still forget which Prophet did what. Yet, we remember every cartoon princess –  and their sidekicks. We designed this innovative, fun game to engrain the stories of the Prophets, their lessons, their struggles and their accomplishments in our youth.
